In Germany, art is mainly communicated through museums and art institutions and is therefore too exclusive and elitist to be equally accessible to all groups in society.
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to break down insecurities and barriers through a different and playful approach to art. With the concept of ALT REAL, an Augmented Reality based exhibition for immersive art in public space, the approach of a freely accessible, equal and attractive art experience is to be established.

Title and logo ALT REAL are derived from the term Alternate Realities.
A fusion of science fiction with the scientific theory, which states that other realities co-exist in parallel with our own. The size and scope of these realities can vary from a geographical region to an entire universe.
